உள்ளூர் நீர்நிலை மீனவர் நலன்Inland water-body fishers' welfare

கடல் தவிர்த்து ஆறு, கண்மாய், குளம், அணைகளில் மீன்பிடிக்கும் மீனவர்களுக்கு தமிழ்நாடு மீனவர் நலவாரியத்தின் எந்தவிதமான பலன்களும் கிடைப்பதில்லை. இந்த நிலையை மாற்றி, மீன்பிடித்தலை தொழிலாகக் கொண்ட அனைத்து மீனவர்களுக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு மீனவர் நலவாரியத்தின் அனைத்துப் பலன்களும் கிடைக்க வழிவகை செய்யப்படும். தகுதிவாய்ந்த இறால் உற்பத்தியாளர்களும் இந்தத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் பலன் பெறுவார்கள். மேலும், எதிர்பாராத நோய் தாக்குதல்களால் நட்டத்தைச் சந்திக்கும் இறால் உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில், இறால் நோய் காப்பீடு வழங்கப்படும்.Fishers who fish in rivers, irrigation tanks, ponds and dams, other than the sea, currently get none of the benefits of the Tamil Nadu Fishers' Welfare Board. Changing this situation, all benefits of the Tamil Nadu Fishers' Welfare Board will be made available to all fishers who take fishing as their occupation. Eligible prawn producers will also benefit under this scheme. Further, to benefit prawn producers who face losses from unexpected disease outbreaks, prawn disease insurance will be provided.
