ஐ.நா. குறிப்பிடும் காலநிலை மாற்றத்திற்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகளில் தமிழ்நாடு சிறந்து விளங்க காலநிலை பட்ஜெட்டாக ரூ.3000 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்படும். வேறு எதற்கும் பயன்படுத்த முடியாத இந்த நிதி, புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க ஆற்றல் வளத்தை நோக்கி மாநிலத்தை அழைத்துச் செல்லவும், பசுமை முதலீட்டை ஈர்க்கவும் மட்டும் செலவிடப்படும்.To make Tamil Nadu excel in actions against climate change as noted by the UN, Rs.3000 crore will be allocated as a climate budget. This fund, which cannot be used for anything else, will be spent only to move the state towards renewable energy resources and to attract green investment.
